Nestled in the back corner of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, between Oga’s Cantina and Docking Bay 7, sits the Millennium Falcon. It’s tucked away so you can’t see it until you see it, live and in living color, a perfect full size replica, exactly as it appeared in the Star Wars films.

And you get to fly it.

In Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s new attraction Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, guests board the Falcon to take part in an important mission. They’re not just along for the ride; they’re active participants in it, either by piloting the Millennium Falcon, firing its laser cannons, or repairing its damaged hull. Their actions determine the outcome of the ride, and the points they earn onboard can be used elsewhere in Galaxy’s Edge.

I’ve read some lukewarm reviews of Smugglers Run, largely from people who I think would have preferred a less interactive experience from it. I prefer to look at it less as ride than as the coolest, most immersive video game ever built. If you’re not a video game fan, it might not be the experience for you. On the other hand, if you like video games and Star Wars — and you particularly enjoy cooperative games where people can work together towards a common goal — Smugglers Run is basically as good as it gets.

Before you punch it, here’s everything you need to know, from where to board, to the Easter eggs to look for in line, to how best to perform each of the ride’s three roles. Keep in mind this list will spoil certain elements of the experience, so if you want to go through it totally fresh the first time, come back and read after you ride so you can be even more prepared for your second. And if you’re anything like me, you’ll want a second trip ... and a third ... and a fourth...

Those are all our tips for now. May the [checks notes] Force be with you.
