NBC ‘Hannibal’ fans were left with a sour taste by news of the good Dr. Lecter’s return being pushed to summer 2015, but this should wash that right out. ‘Hannibal’ returns and heads abroad in the first full trailer for Bryan Fuller‘s darkly delicious third season, but who's going to wind up on a slab?

Courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, our first look at ‘Hannibal’ season 3 wisely doesn’t uncover any survivors of the season 2 finale “Mizumono” massacre beyond Will Graham himself, though we do get a good look at Hannibal’s life on the lam in Italy. Meanwhile, Bedelia du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) seems far more terrified than that cozy plane ride led us to believe, while Will seeks out ‘The Wolverine’ star Tao Okamoto’s Lady Murasaki (maybe) in pursuit of his former friend.

The most haunting bit of all? Will seemingly catches Hannibal’s trail in a desolate catacomb and hopefully offers out “Hannibal? I forgive you.” D’awws. Murder bros!

Most recently adding ‘The Hobbit’ star Richard Armitage as ‘Red Dragon’ killer Francis Dolarhyde and Nina Arianda as Will’s new woman Molly, we know of ‘Hannibal’ season 3 that Joe Anderson will take over from Michael Pitt as Mason Verger, while Raul Esparza will return to the role of Dr. Frederick Chilton, and Bryan Fuller suggested Eddie Izzard could return to the role of the late Dr. Abel Gideon as well.

The new season will pick up sometime later with Hannibal and Bedelia’s new life on the lam, also incorporating such literary Thomas Harris figures as Mason Verger’s living assistant Cordell, and ‘Hannibal’ novel character Inspector Rinaldo Pazzi.

Well, what are you waiting for? Feast your eyes (and everything else) on the first ‘Hannibal’ season 3 trailer above, and tell us what you want to see when new episodes ring the dinner bell this summer!
