We're exactly one month from the October 14 premiere of 'The Walking Dead' season 3, which promises to leave behind any of the fan contention of the previous season and carve its way into the halls of TV greatness.  But before we get there, we have only the photos and TV spots to dissect, some more clue-filled than others.  As new promotional stills of our favorite characters new and old hit the web, what's to discover between the lines?

As we gear up to fear the dead and fight the living, Yahoo TV has their hands on a couple of brand-spanking new photos from 'The Walking Dead' season 3.  Some of them might seem innocent enough, but one in particular caught our eye.  Across the four new stills, we see close-up shots of Daryl and his arrows, Glenn and Maggie looking like farmer and wife, The Governor reclining in his chair, and Rick surveying the prison with Carl.

So what's so special about that?  Well, as we previously caught a glimpse of in the Comic-Con 2012 trailer, The Governor reclining in his quarters may not be ordinary relaxation.  Fans of the comic books well know some of the Governor's more disturbing traits, one of which was to recline in the living room of his apart flipping through channels.  And while we won't give it away just yet folks...he didn't have a TV.  Of course, AMC's vision of The Governor may not follow the comic in that regard, but it's a juicy image to pour over nonetheless.

Check out Yahoo TV's photos below, and tell us what you think in the comments!
