Do you like 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' posters? OK, great, because you've found the right internet post. We don't just have one or two new 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' posters, we have nine new posters and you can check them all out below.

It's unclear exactly where these posters are from (we found them on Comic Book Movie), because they're clearly not final, approved prints. The second one includes standard "lorem ipsum" placeholder text, so it's possible these are all comps provided by designers to the studio (are the fans supposed to be voting on these?) or they're just passing along some rejected ideas on the web.

We're kind've hoping for the later because besides the horizontal one below, none of these are really any good and some are downright terrible. What's the point of pairing up James McAvoy's Professor X with Halle Berry's Storm? They're two characters who have never shared a prior movie and share no scenes in this movie. And they're just standing there, grimacing at nothing in particular.

Mostly, these posters trade in many of the movie poster design cliches that are all too popular these days, notably the orange and blue contrast. Also, for as much as we love Hugh Jackman's performance of Wolverine over the years, he needs to find some new poses. He busts out that "one claw up, dramatic look to the side" look and the "one arm forward and one arm cocked back" pose way too often.

The marketing for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' has been, um, suspect, but we've actually heard good things from people who've seen extended bits of footage for the movie. So, let's try to ignore lazy poster designs and focus on what could actually be a surprising superhero movie!

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' opens in theaters on May 23.
