‘Orphan Black’ Season 3 Premiere Clip: All Clones Report In

Those anxious for a new look at Orphan Black Season 3 may have been somewhat let down by the recent string of teasers, but the latest from the BBC-A breakout more than covers the slight. Get a first look at the April 18 premiere of Orphan Black Season 3 in a brand-new full-length clip!

Picking up not long after the Season 2 finale “By Means Which Have Never Yet Been Tried,” our first official clip from Orphan Black Season 3 sees Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) looking to check in on her clone sisters, only to find that Helena has gone conspicuously missing. Meanwhile, Alison goes about her soccer mom duties, and Cosima seems to be showing signs of improvement from when we saw her last.

So reads the Orphan Black Season 3 synopsis:

Season 3 plunges the clone sisterhood into unexpected territory with the realization that they’re not alone. Just when they thought they knew their enemies and allies, season three reveals our clones are more vulnerable than ever before. Highly trained, identical male-soldiers raise more questions than answers. Who are these new clones? Who created them? And more importantly, why do they exist?

Sarah, Cosima, Alison and Helena are stronger together than they are apart, but this season will put that bond to the test. Will they forge towards their truth, or fall at the feet of those that seek to control them?

As for the new faces this year, Shameless star Justin Chatwin will play Allison’s high school flame Jason Kellerman, while True Blood vamp James Frain will provide a deadly threat to the girls as “cleaner” Ferdinand. Additionally, Black Swan star Ksenia Solo will portray Cosima’s healer friend Shay, joining Warehouse 13 alum Kyra Harper as the military’s Dr. Coady, and Earl Pastko as Ferdinand’s bodyguard “Bulldog.” Game of Thrones star Michiel Huisman will also return as Sarah’s baby-daddy Cal, while Evelyne Brochu is confirmed to reprise her role of Cosima’s scientist lover, Delphine, now leading the Dyad in Rachel’s absence.
