New ‘Orphan Black’ Season 4 Teaser Sees Mystery Clone on the Run

Yesterday morning saw our first look at a new Orphan Black clone in action, albeit hidden behind an intriguing disguise. Now, our second Season 4 teaser for the 2016 premiere gives us a closer look at the mysteriously masked clone, but who might she be on the run from?

Following an initial eyeful, Orphan Black Season 4 has released a second, longer look at the mysterious “MK” in action, running through the woods to hide from an unseen figure. We’re told the Dolly-masked clone has even more information than Sarah, but will Neolution or its various conspiracies get to her first?

So reads the first official synopsis:

Season four of the drama will see leader-of-the-pack, Sarah, reluctantly return home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive and mysterious ally tied to the clone who started it all – Beth Childs. Sarah will follow Beth’s footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction.

Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyone safe, Sarah’s old habits begin to resurface. As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better.

As to the rest of Orphan Black Season 4, we know that the return of “Neolution” will bring about a resurgence of the clone series’ early body horror tropes, while a past panel confirmed that Evelyne Brouchu’s Delphine is only “Orphan Black dead.” We’ll also see more of clone addition Krystal, get a bit more clarification on Kira’s mysterious abilities, and likely see a number of other character returns.
