‘Scary Movie 5′ Trailer: ‘Paranormal Activity’ With a Little More Charlie Sheen

It's been seven years since the 'Scary Movie' franchise reared its head, which begs the immediate question of "Does anyone even care about this series anymore?" To put it in perspective, the chief subjects of parody in 'Scary Movie 4' were 'Saw' and 'War of the Worlds,' films that have all but vanished from the public consciousness. Well, the new trailer for 'Scary Movie 5' has arrived and the subjects of mockery are at least a little more fresh including 'Paranormal Activity,' 'Inception' and Lindsay Lohan's career.

The main plot (AKA, loose story on which everyone can hang various jokes) of 'Scary Movie 5' is a weird amalgamation of 'Paranormal Activity' and 'Black Swan,' following a ballerina who faces all kinds of horror movie-inspired happenings at work and at home. Along the way, the likes of Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan pop up to collect paychecks and make fun of their ever-deteriorating careers.
