There are a few things we know about 'Batman vs. Superman.' We know that the film will primarily star Batman and Superman, but it will also tease the other members of the future Justice League. We know that Gal Gadot is playing Wonder Woman. We know that Jason Momoa is playing Aquaman. We know that Ray Fisher is playing Cyborg. And ... we know that Scoot McNairy is playing a secret role. Hmm. Well, if some new set photos are to be believed, there's a strong chance that McNairy is taking on another iconic member of this iconic team of superheroes: the Flash.

Now, before you read any further, run to your kitchen and grab a big 'ol bag of salt because all of this is simple speculation and jumping to conclusions. However, the new piece of evidence that's appeared on the internet is too juicy to ignore.

You see, someone snapped a photo of McNairy on set and despite his civilian clothing, he appears to be wearing greenscreen leggings that run from under his knees to his ankles. Unless his character happens to be a serious victim of poor fashion, we can safely assume that his legs will be manipulated in post production and transformed into something else via the power of CGI.

In other words, it's not too crazy to assume that his legs will given some kind of super-speedster effect in post. Hence, the Flash. Take a look for yourself:

What do you think? Is the internet jumping the gun here or is this sufficient evidence that McNairy is playing the fastest man in the DC comics universe? Although we suspect we'll know sooner rather than later, we'll know for sure when 'Batman vs. Superman' opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.
