Snatched looks like the mother-daughter adventure film to rule all other mother-daughter adventure films, at least in terms of unpredictable hijinks and not a small amount of raunchiness. Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn’s team-up will be something to see no matter what, and today gives us our very first clip of the madness ahead.

This looks to be towards the start of their journey, when none of the really crazy stuff has started happening yet. Schumer’s character’s mom hands her what she thinks is a rape whistle, no doubt to keep her daughter safe in a foreign country. Turns out, it’s a dog whistle, which becomes abundantly clear once Schumer tests it out. I don’t know about you, but I have a feeling this thing might come into play again later in the film

When her boyfriend dumps Emily, a spontaneous woman in her 30s, she persuades her ultra-cautious mom to accompany her on a vacation to Ecuador. At Emily’s insistence, the pair seek out adventure, but suddenly find themselves kidnapped. When these two very different women are trapped on this wild journey, their bond as mother and daughter is tested and strengthened while they attempt to navigate the jungle and escape.

Snatched hits theaters on May 12, 2017.
