With '30 Rock' having successfully been put to bed, the name of the game for Tina Fey now seems to be answering answering any and all baseless questions about her future projects, or imagined feud with Taylor Swift. Despite the fact that Tina seems to be sticking to movies in the future, with no intent to host the Oscars, Fey was recently asked if she might consider helming 'SNL' once longtime NBC magnate finally steps down. Could Tina Fey return to 'SNL' in the future, or are days of the real 30 Rockefeller Plaza behind her?

'SNL' veteran and '30 Rock' helmer Tina Fey might have the world as an oyster with regard to future projects, but don't expect the 'Admission' star to claim Lorne Michaels' post as the head of 'SNL" when the NBC mainstay finally decides to retire. The Huffington Post recently posed the question to Fey, who didn't appear to deny outright but rather deftly deflected the question:

I feel like SNL is so defined by Lorne's taste and his sensibility. He is the center of that show, and I think it should just — when he wants to stop, it should just stop.

Love or hate 'SNL' these days, the show still manages to deliver with a proper host like this past weekend's Justin Timberlake, but who knows if Tina Fey ever decides to return to her roots after all, and what that new era might look like.

What say you? Would you want to see Tina Fey pick up as the head of 'SNL' someday?
