‘South Park’ Preview: Butters Goes Bonkers in First Clip From “Going Native”
We're only three episodes into the second half of 'South Park's sixteenth season, having parodied Bane, Honey Boo-Boo and the NFL, so how long could it really be before we got a Butters-centric episode? Thankfully not long, as this Wednedsay will see young Mr. Stotch off on yet another whirlwind adventure, as he learns a shocking secret of his origins. What terrible truth does Butters uncover in the newest clip from "Going Native," and who will be along for the ride?
Poor Butters looks to be traumatized even further on the next all-new 'South Park,' as a quest to learn his true identity brings the young blonde boy all the way to Hawaii. But what dark secret does his family reveal to send him on such a far-away quest? Could there be more to Butters than meets the eye? Here's what Comedy Central's press release for "Going Native" tells us about Leopold "Butters' Stotch's latest endeavor:
Butters' outrageous behavior is a sign. It's time for him to begin a journey where he will follow in the path of his ancestors on an all-new episode of "South Park" titled "Going Native," premiering Wednesday, October 17 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on COMEDY CENTRAL.
When Butters starts acting out at school, his parents realize it's time to tell him why he's not like all of the other kids. He must travel to a foreign place to learn the ways of his people. It will be a difficult trip for a young boy to make alone, so Butters chooses Kenny to travel with him to the distant and secluded island of Hawaii.
What could be so different about Butters, other than his demure sweetness? Will this finally be the boy's breaking point, that not even Professor Chaos can come back from? Forget all about that other show premiering this Wednesday at 10, and check out an all-new clip from 'South Park's "Going Native" below!
