May September 4 be with you? Today, LucasFilm officially revealed when you’ll be able to start collecting all that wonderful merchandise for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. On September 4, just a few months before the film hits theaters, a whole bunch of toys, clothes, books and more will hit retailers to help you countdown to one of the biggest (if not the biggest) movie events of the year.

LucasFilm is not messing around when it comes to celebrating the release of The Force Awakens. In an official press release, the company announced that merchandise for the film will go on sale at midnight on September 4. Stores will open their doors to fans, who are encouraged to share the experience on social media with the hashtags #ForceFriday and #MidnightMadness. It is definitely going to be madness, and given the rabid fan devotion to the franchise (through thick and very thin), I imagine people are going to be lining up hours in advance.

Josh Silverman, the executive vice president of global licensing for Disney products talked about the importance of the new merch:

Every lightsaber, every action figure, every LEGO set tells a story for generations of Star Wars fans, and this global event is a celebration of those stories. We’re excited to be part of the countdown to this enormous movie moment

Enormous is kind of an understatement. Toys, collectible figures and items, books, comic books, ebooks, apps, clothing and more will go on sale at midnight at your local retailers and online. You can also swing by the Disney Store or head to the official DisneyStore.com website to make your purchases.

Below, you can check out the special packaging for The Force Awakens products, which will prominently feature the film’s big, cruciform lightsaber-wielding villain, Kylo Ren:
