‘Supernatural’ Season 9 Finale Preview: Bloody Dean Takes on Metatron

It's tough to say if The CW's 'Supernatural' might call it a day after the upcoming tenth season, what with the network's determination to find a successful spinoff, but the ninth season at least will be closing fast by this Tuesday's season finale "Do You Believe in Miracles?" The full set of photos for tomorrow's season 9 finale are upon us, and Dean isn't looking so hot as Sam and Castiel take the fight to Metatron.

It's a tough call to say exactly what we're in for with tomorrow's finale, though we've managed to piece together by the photos and last week's sneak peek that Dean will manage to summon Crowley to get out from Sam and Castiel's watch. A later confrontation between Dean and Metatron seems to end with Dean looking rather bloodied, while Gadreel (Tahmoh Penikett) looks to be in similarly bad shape when Sam and Castiel find him.

THE SHOCKING SEASON FINALE - Dean (Jensen Ackles) feels the effects of the First Blade, and Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) makes his move against humanity. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean and Castiel (Misha Collins) face shocking consequences when taking the fight to Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong).

As if that weren't enough, it seems the finale has far-reaching consequences for the tenth season, as series star (and returning regular) Misha Collins tells TVLine, “More than any other season before, this season finale has implications for Season 10. It may be the best last 10 seconds of a season that we’ve had in five years.”
