Amy Poehler and Eric Andre have new comedies, plus more ‘Nailed It!’

The latest series from the creator of The Simpsons and Futurama is heading to Netflix…and back in time, for a medieval-set adventure called Disenchantment. Ahead of the August premiere, Netflix has released the first trailer for Groening’s latest endeavor, which features his signature animated style along with some very familiar voices.

It’s been almost two years since we first heard Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening had in mind to develop a Netflix animated series, and we’re finally seeing the results. The cast of Futurama will reunite for adult fairy tale Disenchanted, featuring a Broad City favorite and more.

If perhaps the third season finale of FXX and Jay Baruchel’s Man Seeking Woman seemed like it invalidated the title premise, there’s good reason. FXX has confirmed that Man Seeking Woman will not return for Season 4, as the Simon Rich-inspired series comes to a close.

It’s been a good long while since Bill Murray brought us a Netflix Christmas special, and who better than Michael Bolton and The Lonely Island to take us through Valentine’s Day? It’s still not entirely clear how FXX measures a threshold with which to renew its comedies, but consider Jay Baruchel’s delightfully absurd Man Seeking Woman safe for another season. FX and FXX have officially confirmed the 2017 renewal, sending on around round of dating misadventures.

Quietly under appreciated through 2014 came the first season of FXX’s Jay Baruchel-fronted Man Seeking Woman, a delightfully absurdist romp through the perils (and penis monsters) of dating. Those extremes aren’t getting any easier to swallow in the Season 2 red-band trailer, in which coal from Santa should be the least of your worries.

Is it just us or when you hear that John Goodman has been cast in any movie, it immediately shoots to the top of your must-see list? It does? Ok, so we're not the only ones who love the guy.
