The penultimate year of HBO’s Girls is nearly upon us, and Season 5 isn’t wasting any time diving Marnie-first into the awkward. Our first full synopsis for the season puts a wedding off the bat, with plenty of friction between Adam and Hannah’s new boyfriend, also unveiling guest stars and a budding new combination.

Girls creator Lena Dunham has told us before not to expect the twenty-something shenanigans of Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshannah to endure forever, and Season 5 may signal the beginning of the end by its first trailer. Not only do the Girls finally seem to be growing up, but one might even be getting married.

With the unforgiving cold of the winter months nearly upon us, we may be feeling the impulse to settle down and get cozy with someone who makes us feel warm on the inside. HBO’s latest 2015 trailer gave us quite a bit to chew on, from ‘Game of Thrones’ to ‘Westworld,’ but outpacing either of those will be the return of Hannah Horvath and co. for ‘Girls’ season 4. To wit, HBO has released an extended 7-minute preview invitation to the set, showing off everything from a multitude of guest stars, to new plots involving Jell-O wrestling, more Marnie music, and why not, even political ambitions!

While filming for season 4 of 'Girls' is already underway in New York, the show isn't quite done adding some new talent to the roster. Joining an already stellar line-up of guest stars is Jake Lacy, who played Jenny Slate's love interest in the indie rom-com 'Obvious Child.'
