AMC’s Preacher will finally become the road-faring series it was destined to become in Season 2, and that means new locations. Co-creators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are also back behind the camera, as a new featurette explores the comic drama’s trip to New Orleans.

AMC’s Preacher is going to be a very different show when Season 2 premieres in June, and it deserves key art to match. See for yourself, as Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy are all looking “powerful AF” in some colorful new promotion for the comic drama’s return.

What, you didn’t think we’d get through The Walking Dead Season 7 finale without a taste of Preacher, did you? Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy hit the road in our first official Season 2 teaser, chock-full of all the blood and supernatural shenanigans we’ve been missing.

Just yesterday we learned some of the famous faces to stand with AMC’s Preacher in Season 2, but what of the core trio? Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy are back in the first new photos, also declaring a June premiere ahead of this weekend’s SXSW presentation.

The cast of AMC’s Preacher ended up … well, depleted by the time Season 1 reached its climactic end, so it stands to reason Season 2 would need to fill up the reservoir again. So it is that Game of Thrones alum Noah Taylor joins the cast among three new regulars and more recurring, one of which could represent our new big bad for the season.

If the Annville-centric first season of AMC’s Preacher served any purpose, it was to prelude things really hitting the fan in Season 2. Production has now officially begun, as star Dominic Cooper spills his guts on what kind of carnage we might expect to see in the second season.

AMC’s Preacher may not have made many Best of 2016 lists, but the second season might turn things around for Jesse, Tulip and Custer, as the unholy trio hits the road of their namesake comics. Creator-director Seth Rogen is ready as well, sharing the first production tease as Season 2 prepares to go before cameras.

A sad day for fans of Preacher co-creator and revered comic artist Steve Dillon, as the Hellblazer and Punisher icon has passed away at age 54. Dillon had worked on everything from Doctor Who, to Nick Fury and Judge Dredd, including the original Preacher art-work alongside co-creator Garth Ennis.

And lo, the first season of AMC’s Preacher has come to an end with Sunday’s “Call and Response” finale, moving beyond the small Texas town of Annville to the comics’ road trip to find God. Said exit came with an explosive ending for many of the characters Season 1 had introduced us to, now confirmed by showrunner Sam Catlin, while Season 2's biggest bad may in fact be someone we’ve already glimpsed.
