The Muppets

While many of 2013's best movies and TV series were being honored at the 2014 Golden Globes awards ceremony, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, one of the films coming out this year was left out, 'Muppets Most Wanted,' and fans were upset! Just take a look at the new 'Muppets' trailer that aired during Sunday's ceremony.

As we're currently in the throngs of awards season, studios are combing through movie reviews to find the most beaming critiques to place in new "critics" TV spots to promote their films' Oscar clout -- look at ones for 'Gravity,' 'Dallas Buyers Club' and the like. Well, leave it to 'The Muppets Most Wanted' to come up with one that puts all the rest to shame.

The gang is all back together in the first 'Muppets 2' trailer, featuring Kermit, Miss Piggy, Ricky Gervais and many more!

Though it won't be released until March 21, 2014, filming for 'The Muppets... Again!' is underway, and Ricky Gervais is currently on set. We can tell because he's just released a video showing his interactions with one of his cast members, Pepe the King Prawn.

'The Muppets 2,' the sequel to the 2011 film, has just cast 'Modern Family' star Ty Burrell in the role that once almost belonged to Christoph Waltz.

It's been quiet on the 'Muppet 2' front for a while. We knew that James Bobin would return to write and direct, with writing assistance from Nicholas Stoller, and we knew that the sequel would be Jason Segel-free. But it looks like now they've started the casting process for the next film, and the first name is a bit of a surprise: Christoph Waltz.

When we heard that Casey Anthony was trying to turn her journal that she's reportedly been keeping ever since her 2-year-old daughter first went missing into a best-selling book (which will probably then become a Lifetime original movie if it ever gets published), we had to take a look back at the trial to remind ourselves of how mildly absurd this idea is.

The Jim Henson Company is creating a new line of puppets for an upcoming TV pilot -- and apparently they're not Muppets. In fact, we're not exactly sure what they're going to be yet.
