I know – didn’t Voltron: Legendary Defender just have a premiere? Such is the case when shortened seasons are divided into multiple premieres, as the Netflix remake is already prepping Season 4 for launch with a first trailer for the October return.
To tie into the third season's release, Playmates launched a new wave of Voltron: Legendary Defender toys, including a set of diecast figures that could combine to form the massive mech. There’s good news and bad for Netflix’s Voltron: Legendary Defender. Season 3 will premiere in early August, and that’s good! It will have fewer episodes, and that’s bad. But Season 4 is coming this fall, and that’s good! Yes, you can go now. Enjoy the trailer.
For the past few years, Toys R Us and Entertainment Earth have teamed up to offer a select number of Comic-Con exclusives to the public that couldn't make it to the show itself. This year, the two retailers are again teaming up for a series of varied toys and collectibles that would otherwise be unavailable to anyone outside of San Diego. Mixing things up with Hasbro, Funko, Playmates and more, this year's offerings bring a very diverse grouping that collectors will more than be happy to snap up from the comforts of their own homes.
