Yes, yes. We know. Liam Neeson’s ‘Taken’ killer has a very particular set of skills. Skills he has acquired over a very long career. Skills that make him a nightmare for people like us. Those skills gave him a hit. Next they’ll give him a sequel, and that upcoming film has a poster and stills (but sadly no badass tagline like last time).

Olivier Megaton is prepping ‘Taken 2,’ which is due in theaters on Oct. 5. After Neeson’s relentless character Bryan Mills retrieved his daughter from a European crime ring, he’ll have to contend with the surviving thugs who looked foolish due to Mills’ mad dash through their armed ranks.

Even the new poster, shared via Empire, points out that Mills will be the target this time out. From what we’re hearing, Neeson and Famke Janssen will be abducted at the start of the sequel, forcing Maggie Grace to work to save her parents from peril.

A ‘Taken’ sequel seemed inevitable. The first film earned an impressive $145 million in the States, adding an additional $81M in overseas markets. Outside of ‘The Phantom Menace’ and ‘Clash of the Titans,’ it’s one of Neeson’s biggest recent hits. We’re itching to see a trailer for the sequel. Now that the poster is out, can it be far behind? Here's the poster, and non-watermarked photos from the upcoming sequel. What are your thoughts?
