‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Trailer Offers First Look at All the Heroes in a Half-Shell
Heroes aren't born, they're created -- that's the message William Fichtner's Shredder gives to Megan Fox's April O'Neil in the latest 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' trailer, which finally brings us face to face with the titular heroic turtles.
While it's mostly a rehash of footage we've already seen, the latest 3D trailer (as it's called), which debuted over at the official Facebook page, offers some new glimpses at our classic -- but updated -- heroes: Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael. The snouts are still a bit off-putting, but there's also Fichtner looking at that shiny Shredder mask, and you know he's up to no good.
The new 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' film, produced by Michael Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebesman, follows four mutant turtles trained in the art of Ninjitsu, as they go head to head with evil foes, fighting alongside their sensei, Master Splinter, voiced by Tony Shalhoub.
The film also stars Will Arnett, Whoopi Goldberg and Abby Elliott, as well as Alan Ritchson, Johnny Knoxville, Noel Fisher and Jeremy Howard as the voices of the turtles. 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' hits theaters on August 8.
