'The Walking Dead' season 3 will certainly have its hands full with the hordes of walkers, and plenty of new characters to slice and dice their way through the ranks, but what of the season's setting itself?  With such a big deal made out of the second season's farm setting, will the iconic prison prove to be an ideal safe haven for the survivors?  Or will our favorite 'Walking Dead' wind up trapped within its walls?  Take a trip with Robert Kirkman to find out!

While 'The Walking Dead' continues counting down until its season 3 premiere on October 14, the latest look behind the scenes goes inside the set of the infamous prison with 'Walking Dead' creator Robert Kirkman, clearly ecstatic to see his creation brought to life.  The grimy, aged settings of the West Georgia Correctional facility will provide a safer refuge to the survivors than the farm ever could, but won't be without a few dangers of its own.  Says Kirkman:

You guys have no idea what is coming, but I can promise you it's going to be absolutely thrilling, absolutely amazing, and anyone who's familiar with the comic book series knows that the things that start happening once Rick and his group get to the prison are the things that make 'The Walking Dead' what it is.

The most memorable, exciting, jut wrenching, terrifying moments of the comic book series happen in this place, and season 3 is going to blow seasons 2 and 1 out of the water.
