'The Walking Dead' season 4 may not premiere with our regular upcoming network debuts, but the October 13 release of our beloved AMC horror-drama has plenty more goodies to offer in the meantime. The latest season 4 photo sees shipper's delight Daryl and Carol getting a bit closer, while yet another season 3 deleted scene has emerged, returning fan-favorite Morgan (Lennie James)!

Via TVLine, the latest photo from 'The Walking Dead' season 4 stems from a moment we saw in the Comic-Con 2013 trailer, where Carol and Daryl share an early breakfast outside and observe the increasingly clustered walker hordes plaguing the prison fences. Surely the "new threat" won't have anything to do with walkers potentially gaining intelligence, could it? Might someone be riling them up from the inside? Can Carol and Daryl share every meal, please?

Meanwhile, ComicBookMovie got a hold of another 'Walking Dead' season 3 deleted scene off the recent Blu-ray release, in which Morgan goes even crazier explaining the significance of his return episode's title "Clear." We certainly hope to see Morgan again in the coming season, though it might prove a long-time coming if AMC's 'Low Winter Sun' rises for another season.

While we await the latest details from ‘The Walking Dead’ season 4, the next run of the AMC horror-drama will introduce ‘The Wire’ star Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. as comic character Bob Stookey, and upgrade actors Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Emily Kinney to series regulars. The series is confirmed to have begun casting three new roles exceptionally familiar to comic fans, while David Morrissey will also return in season 4 as a series regular, though beyond this season his involvement seems unlikely.

You can check out the season 3 deleted scene from "Clear" in the video above, and take a look at the latest season 4 photo below! Tell us in the comments if you think 'The Walking Dead' will finally give us the Daryl-Carol pairing we've always wanted this year, or if either will bite the bullet!
