It's been almost twenty years since Disney's underrated baseball movie 'Angels in the Outfield' was released, which is the main thread that ties Joseph Gordon-Levitt together with Tony Danza. The two starred in the picture and are looking to work together again as Gordon-Levitt casts Danza onto his new project. And don't expect either of them to do the 'Angels in the Outfield' wave in this dark comedy.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is an acting force to be reckoned with. The man constantly challenges himself with a variety of roles, surprising audiences every time with his skill, and helps many others get their chance in the spotlight with his famous site hitRECord. If you're looking for an actor that you'd like to aspire to be one day, Gordon-Levitt is it.

Now he's finally settling behind the camera and is looking to make his directorial debut with his new untitled project. Variety reports that he's looking to cast none other than Tony Danza to take on the role of the lead character's estranged father in the movie that he's directing and starring in. The rest of the cast so far includes Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore.

In the untitled dark comedy, written by Gordon-Levitt, he stars as a porn-addicted, modern day Don Juan from New Jersey who sets out to become a less selfish person. Principal photography for the untitled project will begin next month in Los Angeles.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has a busy couple of months ahead of him. First he has 'Premium Rush,' the bicycle action movie, coming out in theaters on August 24th, then he's got Rian Johnson's highly anticipated time traveling film 'Looper' out on September 28th.
