FOX's high-profile new Kiefer Sutherland drama has only aired two episodes in total, but already the network has enough confidence in the show to inject it with a big dose of star-power.  And given the latest addition's most recent outing, we think she might have enough time to stick around for a longer haul.

One night after airing its second first episode since the January 25 premiere, Deadline TV announced that 'Touch' has added Maria Bello to its ranks for a multi-episode arc.  The actress, who most recently starred in the now-cancelled NBC adaptation 'Prime Suspect,' will play an "Earth-mother" type whose daughter shares the same (or at least similar) gift to Martin Bohm (Sutherland)'s son Jake (David Mazouz).

'Touch' is expected to earn a season 2 renewal even with the limited number of episodes aired, and Bello's deal includes an option to stay on as a series regular should the series be picked up again.  In its second episode, 'Touch' averaged around 11 million viewers and a 3.2 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, admittedly down 18 percent in the demo from its January preview episode.

What say you?  Will Bello bring a 'Touch' of grace to the Kiefer Sutherland philosophical drama, or will she be the 'Prime suspect' in its downfall?  Tell us who you'd like to see creator Tim Kring bring to the series next!
