This weekend brings us another hot summer showdown, as two crowd-pleasers with major star power open during one of the biggest moviegoing slots of the year. It's Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx in 'White House Down' versus Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy in 'The Heat'. So which flick will you be chillin' with?

The weekend before the Fourth of July always brings major business, as folks are going on vacation and the kids are fully done with school (yay!) across the country. 'White House Down' is giving us mindless action from a master of the genre (Roland Emmerich), and both of its leading men are extremely popular right now. 'The Heat', however, has its own one-two punch in the form of Sandra Bullock (still one of America's sweethearts) and Melissa McCarthy (the new queen of comedy).

There's just one problem for both of these movies; actually, make that two problems. Last weekend's releases, 'Monsters University' and 'World War Z', have proven to be quite well-liked, gobbling up solid mid-week grosses on their way to what will be respectable second weekends. ('Monsters University' could even end up claiming the #1 spot at the box office again.)

So which film will you be checking out this weekend? Vote in our poll and let us know your movie pick in the comments section below!
