Bomb diffuser/Avenger/international spy star Jeremy Renner has been one of Hollywood's busiest actors in recent years. The leading man has been attaching himself to so many projects he's going to become the younger version of Sam Jackson if he's not careful. Now he's apparently got his eye on another movie project.

Collider is reporting that Renner is interested in starring in a movie about WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Dreamworks is currently working on a WikiLeaks movie and Renner is expressing interest in playing the lead.

'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' director Bill Condon is rumored to be the director for the movie. The WikiLeaks project would be based off of the books 'WikiLeakes: Inside Julian Assange’s War on Secrecy' and 'Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World’s Most Dangerous Website.' Development on this project is still in the very early stages and no one has fully committed to anything yet. The Assange/WikiLeaks drama machine is still in full effect so it may be some time before anything starts shooting.

HBO has their own WikiLeaks project in the works and 'The Hurt Locker' writer Mark Boal is also being tasked with writing a screenplay about the controversial man and his website. We'll keep you updated on all of the projects as they happen.
