It's been a good day for reviving franchise properties, what with the ongoing success of the 'Veronica Mars' movie Kickstarter campaign, but it's always a good day for 'Zombieland'! [WARNING: Some might find these pics too gory for comfort.]
At long last 'Zombieland' fans may get their wish for an ongoing TV series based on the movie, now that Amazon has begun shooting its pilot. New set photos from the 'Zombieland' shoot have made their way to the internet, none of which feature the primary cast of Columbus, Wichita, Little Rock and Tallahassee, unfortunately, but rather highlight gore every bit as good as 'The Walking Dead.'
Amazon's 'Zombieland' TV series picks up after the events of the 2009 Ruben Fleischer film, and features a cast comprised of Kirk Ward as Tallahassee, Maiara Walsh as Wichita, Tyler Ross as Columbus, and Izabela Vodovic as Little Rock. Original ‘Zombieland’ writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the pilot and will executive produce with the movie’s producer, Gavin Polone.
We'll keep you posted as more 'Zombieland' TV series details leak, so in the meantime check out the photos below, keep up your cardio, and tell us what you want to see from Amazon Studios' 'Zombieland' adaptation in the comments!
