(This post — and the video above — contains SPOILERS for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.)

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is still in theaters, but fans are already starting to debate what should happen — and what needs to happen — in Star Wars: Episode IXThe film doesn’t open in theaters until December 20, 2019, but we already know a lot about what’s coming thanks to the end of The Last Jedi. From there, well, that required a bit of speculation on the part of the ScreenCrush video team.

In the video above ScreenCrush’s Ryan Arey and Andrew Conte list 10 things they want (or expect) to see out of Star Wars: Episode IX. With Rian Johnson shifting over to his own, new trilogy of Star Wars films, J.J. Abrams returns to guide the main saga he so masterfully brought back to life with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And using that film and The Last Jedi as our guides, we’re figuring out where the greatest sci-fi franchise goes from here. Does Luke return? Does Leia die? Will R2-D2 finally get to do something useful again? Our new video essay breaks it all down.
