So much for your streak, 'Mad Men!'  In a startling upset, Showtime's 'Homeland' seems to have completely swept the 2012 Emmys, taking home the big cheese for Outstanding Drama Series.  Not only an impressive feat as Showtime's first series win, but 'Homeland's victory also ends 'Mad Men's streak of winning the award 4 times in a row.  Had 'Mad Men' prevailed, it would have been the first season in history to win 5 consecutive.

And yet, all glory goes to 'Homeland!'  The win couldn't have come at a better time, as the show get's ready to premiere its second season on Sunday, September 30.  Keep in mind, the show also recieved Outstanding Leading Actor awards for both Claire Danes and Damian Lewis, as well as writing.

So, do you think 'Homeland' really deserved the win over 'Mad Men,' 'Breaking Bad,' 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Game of Thrones,' and 'Downton Abbey?  Will you validate the win by tuning in for the second season?  Tell us your pick for Outstanding Drama Series in the comments!
