For as much as we loved late-night host and Hollywood personality Jimmy Kimmel's turn hosting the 2012 Emmy Awards, the newest host for 2013's award ceremony is hardly a step down. 'How I Met Your Mother' star Neil Patrick Harris will host the CBS award ceremony for a second year, months after his turn hosting the 2013 Tony Awards, but can NPH dazzle us a second time?

September 22, 2013 will see the airing of CBS' 65th annual Primetime Emmy Awards telecast, this time hosted by a more familiar face than last year's turn from Kimmel. All around Hollywood icon Neil Patrick Harris will return to the Emmy stage, having previously hosted in 2009. A noted musical theatre star, Harris will also host CBS' 67th annual Tony Awards next Sunday.

“I couldn’t be more honored and excited to be hosting this year’s Emmy Awards,” said Harris in a statement announcing the news. “And what perfect timing – I’ll just do the exact same script I’m about to use for the Tonys. ‘And the Emmy for Best Revival of a Musical goes to 'Breaking Bad!' See, told you it works.”

What say you? Should Kimmel have come back for a second year, or are you happy to have NPH back on the stage? Give us your 2013 Emmy picks in the comments below!
