'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' Goes Behind the Scenes in Revealing New FeaturettesBritt Hayes |
We are still a few months away from the release of 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' and marketing is ramping up quite a bit, with trailers, more photos, and lots of sneak peeks. Today, we've got a couple of rather revealing featurettes that take you behind the scenes of the upcoming superhero sequel -- and one of them gives you a sneak peek at some of its many (many) villains, including a brief glimpse of Dane DeHaan as Green Goblin!
Andrew Garfield returns to reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the upcoming sequel, which sees Peter struggling to keep his promise to Gwen's father and keep her out of harm's way, while also maintaining both of his identities. That's explored in the first featurette below, titled "The Price of Being a Hero."
The second one, "Lights, Camera, Action," focuses more on the action (obviously), including all those villains, like Paul Giamatti's Rhino. Giamatti himself speaks to the authenticity of the action sequences and Garfield's commitment to being involved. We also get more looks at Electro, and a quick peek at Dane DeHaan as Green Goblin.
'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' also features Emma Stone, Sally Field, and Denis Leary reprising their roles alongside newcomers Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper, B.J. Novak, and Sarah Gadon. You can see more when the film hits theaters on May 2.
