Arnold Schwarzenegger must be feeling pretty sequel-friendly lately: first came those persistent reports that he was working on 'Twins 2,' then he announced that he'd be back for 'Terminator 5,' and now he's confirmed his return for 'The Expendables 3.'

According to the folks at the sensibly named Schwarzenegger fansite TheArnoldFans, the scoop comes directly from Arnold himself. He's apparently on hand at the 21st Century Financial Education Summit, which is currently being held in Australia -- and where a reporter from TheArnoldFans caught up with him to ask about his plans for the next installment of Sylvester Stallone's AARP-friendly action trilogy. As the site's enthusiastic post puts it, "Not only did Arnold confirm to TheArnoldFans that he will be in 'Expendables 3,' he added that he's going to start filming in August in Los Angeles!"

Word of Schwarzenegger's involvement comes after a flurry of casting news for the sequel, which will reportedly add Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Milla Jovovich to its ever-expanding cast of veteran action stars. Schwarzenegger's return doesn't exactly come as a surprise, given that he appeared in the first two 'Expendables' movies, but it's still a nice sign that Stallone is working hard to get the gang back together.

Best of all? That August start date still leaves plenty of time for Arnold to arrange filming for the long-awaited sequel to 'Jingle All the Way' and get it out in time for Christmas. We hear Sinbad has plenty of room in his schedule.
