With a cast filled with villains and antiheroes from all corners of the DC comic book universe, Suicide Squad was already looking like one of the most jam-packed superhero movies of all time before Ben Affleck was reportedly spotted arriving at the film’s Toronto set. Although nothing has been confirmed, this certainly lends credence to the rumors that Batman (or at least Bruce Wayne) will be showing up in David Ayer’s supervillains-on-a-mission movie.

As you can see in the images below, Affleck was photographed on set in his Bruce Wayne suit and tie, his temples dyed the same grey we saw in the Batman vs. Superman trailer, where his take on the Caped Crusader will be making his big screen debut. There have been rumblings that Batman himself may show up in the film for a tiny cameo, but this feels like pretty solid evidence that billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne will have some business in the film. Maybe he’s taking a meeting with Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller?

However, we can safely assume that whatever Affleck contributes to the film will be brief. After all, there’s not much room for Bruce Wayne (or Batman) in a movie that already features Deadshot, Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc, Enchantress, Rick Flagg and others. Then again, Jared Leto’s Joker is also hanging around and we certainly wouldn’t say no to a scene where those two old nemeses get a chance to get acquainted. Based on what we’ve heard about the state of the still-young DC movie universe, Batman and the Joker have already been at war for some time. The presence of Affleck suggests we may be getting some backstory for future Batman solo adventures out of the way in Suicide Squad.

Suicide Squad opens in theaters on August 5, 2016.
