When it was first reported that Carrie Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, would be starring alongside her mother in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, many assumed she’d be playing some version of Princess Leia, whether by flashback or archival footage. It turns out that many assumed wrong. Lourd, whose character name has yet to be revealed, says she’s not playing Princess Leia in the film, but based on this first official look at her character, she certainly bears a resemblance to the new General of The Resistance.

Above is Lucasfilm promotional shot of Lourd as her unnamed character and below is a shot of Lourd in the film, alongside droid PZ-4CO.

Now those shots may have you disputing the claims that Lourd isn't playing some version of Leia. But, if you look closely in the last Force Awakens trailer, you can actually notice Lourd’s character standing alongside General Leia in the Resistance headquarters.

So, that’s one rumor we can put to bed. As for who exactly Lourd’s character is in the film, and whether she has any relationship with Leia other than a general style inspiration, remains to be seen.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 18.
