So, we guess that 'Game of Thrones' show everyone was talking about won't be back for awhile.  And there's this other show we've been hearing about in its fifth season, something to do with vampires, or 'True Blood,' or something.  And what's this we've been hearing about 'The Newsroom,' by the guy who made Facebook: the Movie, Aaron what's-his-name, or whatever?

Our real HBO fix is coming from the long-anticipated debut of 'Boardwalk Empire' season 3, so why wait for details to pour out when we can visit the set ourselves?

Thanks to HBO and 'Boardwalk Empire' creator / show-runner Terence Winter, viewers can take a trip to Atlantic City to preview the new season straight on the set!  Full of familiar faces and places, the latest 'Boardwalk Empire' video is our best insight yet into how season 3 is shaping up before its debut this fall on HBO.

In the video below, you'll also hear Winter give his take on the way things have changed for season 3, particularly after the brutal season 2 finale saw - SPOILER ALERT (seriously, it's even in the video) - Nucky killing his surrogate son, and series lead Jimmy Darmody (Michael Pitt).  You'll learn how much time has past, and what alliances have shifted as the Prohibition world grows increasingly more violent and dangerous.

Curiously absent from the mix is Michael Shannon's (now-disgraced) Nelson Van Alden, but we're assured he'll be part of the series as well, having inadvertently set up shop around Al Capone's future stomping grounds in Cicero, Chicago.  Plus, you'll catch your first look at Bobby Cannavale as Gyp Rosetti, a new gangster who poses a threat to Nucky (Steve Buscemi).

Check out the video below, and tell us what you're most hoping to see from 'Boardwalk Empire' season 3 in the comments beneath!
