As AMC's 'Breaking Bad' prepares to make its final run of eight episodes this summer, we've been hearing multiple announcements about the various cast member's forthcoming projects. Bryan Cranston has his own deal with Sony TV, while Betsy Brandt has joined Michael J. Fox's untitled NBC sitcom and Anna Gunn has her own Bravo series lined up, but what of our main man Hank Schrader? This summer, stock up on Schraderbrau as 'Breaking Bad's' Dean Norris will go 'Under the Dome' for CBS! Find out the latest details of the Stephen King series inside!

While CBS' forthcoming Stephen King-inspired summer series 'Under the Dome' has yet to go before cameras, the project has added yet another famous name to its inhabitants. Via Twitter, 'Breaking Bad' star Dean Norris has been announced to join 'Under the Dome,' playing the series' main villain.

Written by ‘LOST’s’ Brian K. Vaughan and with original ‘Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ helmer Niels Arden Oplev directing, ‘Under the Dome’ follows the book of the same name, focusing on a small New England town that finds itself inexplicably encased in a transparent dome with no hope of penetration. Inside, the residents of the town battle increasingly apocalyptic conditions as they struggle to understand what’s happened to them.

Norris will play politician and car dealership owner James “Big Jim” Rennie, who seizes an opportunity to take control of the small town Chester’s Mill once it becomes sealed under the dome.

In addition to Norris, the CBS summer drama recently cast 'Pan AM star' Mike Vogell in the lead role of Dale “Barbie” Barbara, an Army veteran who arrives in the small town of Chester’s Mill on a mysterious mission, joining cast members Colin Ford (‘Supernatural‘), Natalie Martinez, Alex Koch, Britt Robertson, Nicholas Strong and Jolene Purdy. CBS has tentatively set a premiere date of Monday, June 24 for the series.
