Was the 'Captain America 2' trailer not enough for you? Well, we have good news! Fans who go see 'Thor 2' in 3D will be treated to an exclusive, extended five-minute sneak peek at 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' including never-before-seen footage!

Marvel announced the news today that fans who see 'Thor 2' in 3D get a first look at the new 'Captain America 2' footage, but reminder: you must see the film in 3D to see the extended preview. The bonus footage will run throughout the 'Thor 2' theatrical run, so don't feel like you have to rush out on opening weekend (though we'll guess you were probably going to do that anyway).

Dave Hollis, executive vice president, theatrical distribution, at Walt Disney Studios said in a statement:

After Marvel’s The Avengers, the Marvel films are more interwoven than ever, and this pairing is the perfect complement to both of the new movies. 'Thor: The Dark World' is going to be an exceptional theatergoing experience, and this sneak peek will really rev fans up for the return of not only the Mighty Avenger but the First Avenger as well.

It's also a pretty clever marketing move. Would you ever pay an extra $2-3 to watch a preview of footage online? Probably not, but with this deal, some fans might be convinced to upgrade their ticket to 3D just to see the 'Captain America 2' footage and then Disney and Marvel pocket some extra money, just for showing off a longer trailer.

Now, we don't want to seem like a killjoy here. If this new extended 'Captain America 2' trailer is anything like what they showed at Comic-Con, we're going to be there (if you thought that elevator scene was cool in the trailer, wait until you see the extended version).

What do you think? Will you upgrade your 'Thor 2' ticket to check out some extra 'Captain America 2' love?
