Captain America: Civil War has been filming on the streets of Atlanta this month with nothing too exciting to report so far from the star-studded cast. That’s about to change as reports have come in that yesterday’s scenes include a major funeral set at a downtown church. So, which Marvel character is about to bite the big one?

First, the photos. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Captain America: Civil War was filming yesterday at the Peachtree Christian Church with extras dressed in all black funeral wear. In addition, both Chris Evans and Emily van Camp (Agent 13) were photographed on set with Evans wearing a black tuxedo. No additional cast were seen, but Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr.
, Anthony Mackie, Daniel Bruhl and Sebastian Stan were all spotted later that night at the Atlanta Hawks basketball game.

So, who could be dying that would bring this many people together? Right now, we know the film includes Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Vision, Ant-Man, Falcon, Bucky Barnes, Baron Zemo, Agent 13, Black Panther, War Machine, General Ross and Spider-Man. But, if you're looking at that list, you may get confused, because it’s likely someone who isn’t in the film that dies.

SPECULATION/SPOILERS AHEAD

Considering the advancing age and deteriorating health of the character, we're going to guess it's Peggy Carter who dies in Captain America: Civil War. Plus, the only two Marvel characters who show up at the funeral are characters — Steve Rogers and, her niece, Sharon Carter — who have direct ties to Peggy.

It's not entirely unexpected, but should still be an emotional moment for the characters and for fans. And, you shouldn't be too sad because Peggy will return in Season 2 of Agent Carter on ABC next year.

Of course, we could be wrong and it could be another character who dies, but we don't see Marvel killing off one of its modern superheroes in this film.

Captain America: Civil War opens in theaters on May 6, 2016.
