A launch trailer for the Xbox Live Arcade beat 'em up, Charlie Murder, has gone live. The game tasks you with taking part in a punk rock apocalypse by teaming up with the eponymous band as they try to save the world from their death metal rivals, Gore Quaffer.

The game is a 2D indie massacre full of loud, driving punk rock, multiplayer brawls, and enough blood to satisfy the Red Cross' donation centers for months.

You can partake in a Player vs. Player arena, and take on three of your friends in the ring as different members of the band. If you'd rather play nice and take on an army of non-player characters, you can team up with friends and even fuse two characters together in order to pull of special attacks.

But perhaps the most exciting part of this game is that you can have four-player co-op, locally! Just like in the old days, you and three of your buds can gather around the TV and play the game together. No need for online shenanigans here, folks.

Watch the incredibly ridiculous trailer above and let us know if you'll be getting this brawler when it comes out this summer.
