'Community' season 4 might lack Dan Harmon at the helm, but it sure has a lot of star power on its side.  While last year we were treated to the likes of 'The Wire's Michael K. Williams and John Goodman as members of the Greendale Community College faculty, this year things will have a touch of foreign class.  Following 'Bridesmaids' star Matt Lucas as a new professor for the gang, renowned UK actor Malcolm McDowell will appear in multiple episodes as well.  But, but is he who he seems?

Per The Hollywood Reporter, we've learned that prolific and imposing UK actor Malcolm McDowell will be the next to charm the Greendale gang as a professor, teaching history across at least two episodes.  McDowell joins the recent casting of 'Bridesmaids' star Matt Lucas as a fellow history professor, more or less setting a direction for the group's studies this season.

Of course, we can't help but notice a certain potential resemblance to series star Joel McHale's Jeff Winger, whose father we know we'll meet this season, but that's really neither here nor there...

The first of 'Community' season 4's 13-episode run will air on Friday, October 19, under new show-runners Moses Port and David Gurascio.  And we all remember how that happened.  With any luck, it won't be the last season for our favorite Greendale 7.

What say you?  Are you excited to have McDowell join the cast for 'Community' season 4?  Do you think he is who they say he is, or is there a deeper mystery afoot?  Will Inspector Spacetime be on the case?  Give us your thoughts in the comments below!
