Dark Souls 2 Trailer: Go Beyond Death This March

We don’t think you’re quite ready to see this new trailer for Dark Souls 2 and the bleak reality it represents. But hey, at least you’ll see some cool new gameplay and two new special editions.

The trailer above shows us various heroes in Dark Souls 2 doing what they do best: dying. But, as veterans of the series will know, death is just the beginning. After all, the only way to get good at something, even if that something is adventuring through Lordran and lands beyond, is to fail. And in a game like Dark Souls 2, failure is an inevitability.

You can sign up for the Closed Beta if you want to get a crack at dying before the rest of the general public or you can wait until March 11, 2014 for the game to be released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In the meantime, check out the two different editions of the sequel coming next year.
