New 'Doctor Who' Season 9 Trailer Threatens Story's End

Doctor Who gave fans a rockin’ taste of Season 9 from Comic-Con 2015 with its first trailer, but things get really intense by our second sneak peek. The Doctor rocks, Clara rolls, and Maisie Williams explodes our nerd brains in the second full trailer for Doctor Who Season 9's September premiere, including a new poster.

There’s plenty to unpack from the new Season 9 trailer, including classic villains like Daleks, Zygons or the re-gendered Missy, along with some seriously frightful new creations. Additionally, The BBC also released a brand-new poster for the occasion:

Premiering September 19 with two-part installment “The Magician’s Apprentice” and “The Witch’s Familiar,” Doctor Who Season 9 will feature among its guest stars Game of Thrones favorite Maisie Williams, Rufas Hound, Tom Stourton, Ariyon Bakare, Simon Lipkin, Ian Conningham, Murray McArthur, Barnaby Kay, John Voce, Struan Rodger, Jemma Redgrave, Kelly Hunter, Clare Higgins, Jaye Griffiths, Daniel Hoffmann-Gill, Jami Reid-Quarrell, Aaron Neil, India Ria Amarteifio, Joey Price, Dasharn Anderson, Harki Bhambra, Demi Papaminas, and a returning Michelle Gomez.
