'Escape Plan' Poster: Schwarzenegger and Stallone vs. the Prison System

'Escape Plan' (previously titled 'The Tomb') feels like a movie we've been waiting 30 years to see: a team-up between action icons Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Technically, the two musclebound actors appeared together in the 'Expendables' films, but that was a glorified cameo on Arnie's part. This one is the real deal. The first poster for this sure-to-be-amazing-even-if-it's-not film has arrived and it has us pumped.

Directed by Mikael Hafstrom (a solid journeyman of a filmmaker), 'Escape Plan' follows the designer of the world's most secure prison (Stallone) as he's wrongfully incarcerated in his own creation. In order to escape and clear his name, he'll have to break his own flawless design. However, he'll need the help of a fellow inmate, and that's where Schwarzenegger enters the picture. The supporting cast includes solid thespians like Jim Caviezel, Vincent D'Onofrio and Amy Ryan, tough guys like Vinnie Jones and, uh, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, who we hope won't have too many lines.

Here's that first 'Escape Plan' poster, which is surprisingly slick for a movie that seems to be all about these two tough guys sticking it to the man. 'Escape Plan' arrives on October 18, so we'll probably be seeing a trailer soon rather than later.
