The new 'Hobbit 3' banner is basically a "Top 10"-y list of things to look forward to in the film. Taking the same storyboard format as previous key art for the earlier installments, this latest poster chronicles some of the epic moments to come, including a fiery showdown with the dragon Smaug and one blood-spattered battle.

The official 'Jurassic Park' poster, with its emblem plastered on a black background, is as iconic as movie posters get. Although extremely simple in concept and execution, it allows the viewer to create the entire movie in his or her imagination. It's understated and it's brilliant. With that out of the way, it's time to take a look at some alternate posters that were designed for the film and never used. We'll be perfectly honest: some of these are good enough to make us question our loyalty to that classic final poster.

Cutting through all of the badly photoshopped posters emerging from Comic-Con 2014 is the latest one-sheet for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay,' which manages to stand out because it's stylish and doesn't feature its main character standing with his back to the camera while random debris flies around for no reason. In fact, this poster doesn't feature Katniss Everdeen or Peeta Mellark at all.
