‘Fringe’ Season 5 Releases First Futuristic Promo Photos

Fringe Season 5 Transilience Thought Unifier Model 11
FOX

The coming of the Observers may be inevitable, though you wouldn’t know it to look at the first official images of ‘Fringe‘ season 5.  While we know our favorite ‘Fringe’ team will be headed to the fabulous world of 2036, there isn’t much we know about just how the team plans to rescue a planet dominated by our bald-headed, sharply-dressed overlords.  Not to mention, where will the team find Olivia Dunham along the way?  Do the latest photos give the answer?

A 13-episode series finale season though it may be for ‘Fringe,’ the agents work’ is never done as executive producer Joel Wyman has released the first official promo photos of the new season.  We don’t see much in the photos other than the recurring Etta (Georgina Haig), future daughter to Peter Bishop and Olivia Dunham, reclining somewhat comfortably in bed.  She sure doesn’t seem too preoccupied for someone who just pissed off the supreme overlords of the world, as seen in “Letters of Transit.”

The other photo highlights Peter and Olivia back again, seemingly underground, though it isn’t clear where Olivia herself was during the events of “Letters of Transit,” and how the team re-unites in the future.  In the foreground appears to be Walter Bishop, no doubt hard at work on a solution to rid their world of the Observers.

‘Fringe’ season 5 won’t premiere until September 28 with “Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11,” so check out the photos below and give us your theories on how the final season of ‘Fringe’ plays out in the comments!
