Perhaps we should have seen this coming — one of those things that’s so obvious that you’ll wonder why you hadn’t thought of it earlier. We all know Furiosa is the real badass star of Mad Max: Fury Road, a film that shows you that females are strong as hell. And in keeping with that idea, some genius took to YouTube to publish their mashup of the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt opening/theme song with footage of Furiosa and the tough ladies of Fury Road. And just when you got that damn theme song out of your head.

This is, seriously, too perfect. There’s plenty of footage in Fury Road that pairs well with the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt theme: the wives, that weird old white dude (Immortan Joe!), the strong-as-hell females, several moments in which women display their unbreakable resolve. Using the extended, full autotune version of the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt theme song, Albert Lopez edited together footage from Fury Road, highlighting the amazing Furiosa and Immortan Joe’s slave-wives, who also prove their strength and resilience throughout the film.

Two great female-centric pieces of pop culture, brought together by the song you haven’t been able to get out of your head for months. As Lopez notes in the description section of the YouTube page, this mashup is for all the haters complaining about the strong women in Fury Road. They alive, dammit. You’re welcome.
