'Futurama' fans recently had their hearts broken once more to learn that the series would come to a (likely) definitive end after its next 13 episodes, but if nothing else, the beloved sci-fi animated series will certainly go out with a bang. New reports claim 'Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke will lend her fiery tongue to one of the final 'Futurama' episodes, but who will the Mother of Dragons have her animated eyes on this summer?

'Futurama' might be coming to an end, but its producers are pulling out all the stops for the final 13 episodes of the series. Entertainment Weekly reports that Daenerys Targaryen herself, 'Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke will lend her voice to the series' second-to-last episode, guesting as a new love interest for...Dr. Zoidberg?!

Fittingly, Clarke's flower stand-owning character lacks the sense of smell to keep away from the Decapodian Doctor, as executive producer David X. Cohen explains:

She falls in love with Dr. Zoidberg — the smelliest character on Earth in the future — but she can’t smell him, so it’s a match made in heaven. However, being a doctor, he has the opportunity to perform a nose transplant and give her a sense of smell, which would destroy their romance, so it’s a big dilemma.

Clarke's appearance can be heard in the series' penultimate episode "Stench and Stenchibility," airing August 28, while coincidentally enough, two weeks prior will see a 'Futurama' episode bearing the title 'Game of Tones' hit the airwaves.

Well, what say you? Are you hoping Dr. Zoidberg's Khaleesi love interest sticks around, given the September 4 end of the series at large? Where would you like to see 'Game of Thrones'' Emilia Clarke pop up next? Watch the latest 'Futurama' trailer below, and prepare for the beginning of the end with the June 19 premiere!
