FX’s ‘Fargo’ gave its first bit of official season 2 casting last week with news that Kirsten Dunst and ‘Breaking Bad’’s Jesse Plemons would play a couple at the center of the ‘70s crime drama, but already the Coen-adapted Emmy-winner is taking things one step further. Get a glimpse of their characters with a full script page from FX’s ‘Fargo’ season 2!

Per Entertainment Weekly, our first look at the ‘Fargo’ season 2 script provides several distinct character shades to Dunst’s Peggy and Plemons’ Ed Blomquist, while the accompanying article identifies that the two will find themselves at the center of a mob war with a more local crime syndicate. As for the era itself, series creator Noah Hawley suggested that the ‘70s setting wouldn’t hearken to typical era design, but come across more like a Western.

Elsewhere, we know the 1979-set ‘Fargo’ season 2 will introduce and detail the fate of Molly (Allison Tolman)’s mother Betsy, as the 33 year-old Lou (recast from Keith Carradine) returns from Vietnam to find a more domestic war waiting for him. The new season will also factor in the character of eventual Duluth police lieutenant Ben Schmidt, while creator Noah Hawley claims the Coen brothers influences of the new season can be found in the original ‘Fargo,’ as well as ‘Miller’s Crossing’ and ‘The Man Who Wasn’t There.’

The new season is expected to shoot from January to May 2015, airing (at the earliest) sometime in the fall, so take a look at the script of ‘Fargo’ season 2 below, and give us your thoughts in the comments!
