Fans have been trying to cope with the grim reality that we won't be seeing 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' not next month, but in March of 2013. But if you think you have it bad, at least you're not a retailer who has to yank all of that wonderful 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' merchandise off of their store shelves (unless you are a retailer, and then... we're sorry).

Paramount is shuffling the action sequel due to 3D conversion and reshoots, but considering that the toys for the film were either at stores, or stocked, it doesn't make retailers happy. Many are pissed off that they have to yank all of the 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' merchandise from their shelves after having it up there for less than a week, though they weren't supposed to hit the marketplace until after the Memorial Day weekend. And due to the sudden change, some retailers are hesitant to go ahead and make the same order on the 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' merchandise when the movie comes out in 2013, reports Variety.

Hasbro spoke up about them yanking their product, and assured everyone that although there is a very limited number of 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' toys out there now that there certainly will be more early next year. This is good news for those who managed to get their hands on some merchandise before it disappeared from shelves, and the results are currently hitting eBay (go figure).
