‘Game of Thrones’ Star Peter Dinklage Gets More Awesome With Mace-Wielding Graduation Speech

We're not sure how much there is to condone when it comes to 'Game of Thrones' celebrities giving the commencement addresses at various colleges.  One the one hand, it seems a job better suited for true leaders of men, or academics, but on the other, they never cease to entertain.  Every bit as witty in real life as his on-screen 'Game of Thrones' character Tyrion Lannister, Peter Dinklage's address needs to be seen to be believed.

It may be a long wait until season 3 of 'Game of Thrones' after this past Sunday's finale 'Valar Morghulis," but in the words of a very wise man, "we'll all go on."  That man, of course, is none other than Tyrion Lannister himself, Peter Dinklage delivering the 2012 commencement address at his old alum Bennington College

Brandishing a real, honest-to-Red-God mace that an overzealous studio had given to him earlier, Dinklage took to the stage in very self-aware fashion to acknowledge the oddity of having him for a commencement speaker.  Still, the 'Game of Thrones' actor keeps his dignity and his legendary wit, and delivers a rousing speech captured by cell-phone cameras everywhere.
